Here at San Juan Counseling we believe in creating a safe space to explore challenging issues. You might feel stuck, process challenging events, get support for daily stressors, and reduce negative, unwanted mental health symptoms. We enjoy helping people live the best version of their lives! We use culturally and spiritually-sensitive models such as narrative therapy to help you explore the deeper issues, if requested. We work with children, adolescents, individuals, couples, and families. All services are currently via telehealth. Currently accepting Tricare and in the process of paneling with Triwest. We are military friendly.
A few of our specialties are military/first responders, anxiety, depression, PTSD, emotional intelligence, intercultural/interracial issues, foster care, adoption, attachment, male issues, teen/tween struggles, setting boundaries, parenting, dealing with/recovering from narcissistic relationships, sensory processing issues, loss, Christian spirituality.
Many clients tell us how surprised they are by how "easy" therapy is and how good the results are. Many expected that therapy would be difficult work, that they would never see improvements, and their symptoms were permanent. It has been wonderful to see clients reduce or eliminate their symptoms, take control of their lives, and find purpose.
