My name is Samuel, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Life Coach working with Asian-American/1st and 2nd generation men and women who struggle with mental health, anxiety in dating or relationships, and having healthy boundaries. My ideal clients have many things in their life figured out, yet struggle with self-esteem, overthinking and navigating their emotions. I have over a decade of experience working with children all the way to elderly populations on anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, grief & loss. I feel competent in tackling any problem you may be facing regarding your mental health.
My approach is gentle but direct. I provide a safe, warm environment for you to be your true self. My goal is for you to feel seen, heard and empowered to take positive actions. At times, we will spend the session unpacking stressful situations in your present or past. Other times, I will use direct techniques to facilitate emotional healing and release.
In our first session, you will deeply seen and heard and that someone finally gets you. You will begin to feel clarity, lightness and a grounded sense of positivity around your presenting issues.
