Montanans face unique challenges related to geography, a culture of individualism, intergenerational patterns of trauma, and a changing economy. I’ve spent my career developing evidence-based skills to meet the needs of my neighbors. This starts with building a straightforward relationship as a foundation for work that attends to the needs of our physiology, psychology, spirituality, and our community. Therapy is about cultivating ongoing processes of resilience and everyday I do my best to work myself out of a job.
I specialize in supporting the development of relational capacities, building resilience, and processing traumatic stress. I'm a certified EMDR consultant and heavily informed by my training eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), interpersonal neurobiology, attachment theory, and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).
Over years of working in the mental healthcare field in Western Montana, I've developed a pragmatic approach to supporting the healing process for individuals, couples, and families and would be honored to explore the possibility of collaborating towards a healthier and happier future.
