I enjoy working with families of teens as they navigate: ADD, behavioral problems, school performance, ASD, managing responsibilities, questions about faith, peer relationships, and issues concerning social media. I also enjoy working with older adults and families providing care for older adults. Organization, structure, well-communicated boundaries, and clearly established expectations are essential components of wellness in a family system. I start out by listening to the individual stories about the family to get a sense of the family's identity, and then I take that language and work with families to evaluate the existing components of wellness.
