I enjoy hearing people’s stories and working with them to use their strengths to make their lives better. I have worked with cancer patients, Alzheimer’s, anxiety, and dryness. I have worked with substance abuse, domestic violence, and adolescents. I have worked with postpartum, epilepsy, grief, work-related stress, and divorce. I have worked with LGBTQIA and transgender people. I have done work with an inner child, too.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rotarian, motivational, strengths-based, short-term, and family systems.
I like to hear what the clients’ strengths are and build on those to help them look at possible solutions. I want the client to feel supported and have a relaxed therapeutic relationship.
