Trauma Resolution Therapy

I have a particular soft spot for working with artists and young women making sense of a problematic upbringing or overcoming shame. Using EMDR training, Mindfulness, Narrative therapy and Expressive Arts, we find channels for more ease in your life. To decrease anxiety after a crisis, trauma, or transition, I use relational, present moment awareness to process early abuse, major life transitions, and grief, accessing healing, confidence, and agency. I welcome LGBTQIA+ & neurodivergent folks, couples, teens, and anyone just feeling lost.

To process trauma, I use EMDR training, and I have certificates in Mindfulness, Non-Violent Parenting Strategies, and Trauma Focused CBT. I am versed in Al Anon and CoDa Recovery. As a mother, I am familiar with the nuances and challenges of parenting. I used to be a creative writing professor and see beauty, nature, and imagination as restorative practices.

I believe in everyone's ability to move towards a fulfilling life. It can be hard to have confidence when you embark on a new life path, and I can be your sounding board as you build self-trust & agency. Together, we'll make a plan to meet short and long term goals. Mindful Moms is a supportive mom process group that starts with a brief mindfulness exercise then facilitated discussion about our daily parenting experiences, raising awareness around intergenerational cycles, applying mindfulness as parents, and articulating our unique identities as moms in community. Meets 10 Tuesdays, 10–11:30am, starting January 2026. $35/session.
