I am currently taking new clients. Are you in need of support? Do you need someone to fully listen and share with you in your difficult issues or life experiences? Whether it's depression, anxiety, grief or a difficult life transition, sharing and working through painful feelings can be very healing. I can help with relationship difficulties as well as learning to have healthy boundaries. I only offer telehealth sessions at this time. I am currently available mainly 8am to 5pm. My practice focuses on people who want to enjoy greater peace and more satisfying relationships. I’m pleased to serve children, adolescents, and adults. The emphasis of my work includes treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, interpersonal difficulties, psycho-spiritual issues, ADHD, and child/adolescent behavior problems.

I'm Ray Nava, a highly driven mental health provider with a background in family medicine. I leverage this background to adopt a comprehensive and holistic approach towards mental health care. My professional journey has led me to work with a culturally diverse population across various states including, Arizona, Texas, Oregon, and New York. Additionally, I am able to serve Spanish speaking clients and offer my services in Spanish.

Accepting difficult situations in life and moving towards change is a journey you don't have to face alone. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate new challenges, past traumas, major life changes, and day-to-day struggles. I enjoy working with adolescents, young adults, and adults who are seeking to better understand themselves, create resilience, and pursue well-being and happiness.

I believe that everyone can explore past experiences that can effect relationships, and learn how to develop healthy community. Live a full productive life today, with healthy relationships, is what we all seek. I have a desire to help people overcome obstacles that get in the way of reaching goals and to move from existing to thriving, and most important, a desire to help individuals utilize their internal strengths to address and find answers to life’s difficult questions.

From personal experience, I know how hard navigating the ups and downs of modern life can be. Debilitating thoughts like, “I’m not enough,” become barriers to progression. This brand of negative self-talk often leaves one feeling stuck and using whatever means necessary to alleviate the pain. I work from a philosophy that all emotions are “good” emotions. Like positive emotions, hard emotions give you insight into who you are and what's important to you. I believe the answers to creating a life worth living reside inside each one of us. My job is to help you uncover your unique ability to manage the challenges life throws your way.

Life is a continual marathon, growth is an ongoing process, success is not defined by a tangible finish line and we as humans can do hard things; however, sometimes seeking therapy helps us get through hard things with the help and guidance of another person.
