Are you feeing overwhelmed and stuck but are nervous to ask for help? I'm glad you're here. My approach to therapy is largely Person-Centered – meaning I respect what feels most important to you and will follow your lead. We will work in a non-directive manner with curiosity and compassion, as I recognize that you are a person with unique qualities and experiences. I strive to learn about you as a full person and become familiar with all of your parts - the happy, the sad, the angry, the scared - at a pace that works for you. Together, we will work collaboratively to achieve your goals and create the life that you want.
I work with adults of all ages experiencing a variety of issues related to depression, anxiety, relationship and attachment issues, life stressors/adjustments, grief/loss, chronic illness and the effects of all kinds of traumas. I tend to use humor and empathy to connect with and support you through your journey of healing and discovery.
I encourage you to listen to your gut but also, to take a chance. Imagine what it might feel like to put yourself first. Although the work is hard and can be uncomfortable, I am here to support you and help you find your best self.
