I focus on giving high-functioning, overwhelmed individuals seeking real change rather than coping space to reset, reconnect, and move toward a life that feels like theirs again. My approach to therapy balances down-to-earth, human connection and clinical expertise. My clients have often learned to rely on shutting down, emotional unavailability in relationships, over-achieving, workaholism, avoidance of commitment, fierce independence, adrenaline seeking, rebelliousness, substance abuse, anger and conflict or any manner of escape to get them through life.
I specialize in helping emotionally avoidant clients connect to their vulnerable side, connecting with those who never really clicked with traditional therapy, helping men who grew up in high conflict families feel again, using ketamine assisted psychotherapy to help create transformation, and getting to the root of difficult issues in couples and families.
My clients want a therapist who will be radically honest, keep them accountable, teach them how to accept help and affection, and laugh at the absurdity of it all with them.
