Hi! I’m Sammy and I'm an openly queer therapist who is passionate about supporting the LGBTQ+ community. I offer virtual therapy services for individuals ages 18 and older. My primary passion and area of advanced training as a therapist is LGBTQ+ care, including a variety of related topics such as identity clarification, gender dysphoria, minority stress, intersectionality, coming out, navigating non-traditional relationship structures, processing trauma, reducing shame, and fostering self-love. I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) but I am trained in and use a variety of other modalities as needed.
Although I specialize in queer issues, I work with clients of all identities and I am trained/experienced in a wide range of topics, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, self-worth, emotional regulation, boundaries, values clarification, and navigating life transitions. The world is a scary place right now and we could all use extra support!
I am passionate about supporting people through difficult times and helping them reach their potential. I value my clients’ sense of safety in the therapy room and will do all that I can to create a supportive environment for your growth and healing.
