Hello! I'm Samantha, and I work with pregnant and postpartum mothers and adults who are struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, or perfectionism and are looking to gain balance. If this is you, you might struggle with feelings of guilt, being present, and trying to control everything around you. You want to be able to learn how to have more flexible thinking and self-compassion, but are finding yourself stuck in over analyzing or feeling burnt out. I also enjoy working with clients who are going through difficult life transitions or are grieving a loss and needing support.
I take a person-centered approach with clients because I believe that change occurs when a validating and supportive relationship is at the core. I have extensive training in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International (PSI). I also pull from modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT).
