My passion and drive come from my experience of growing up in a blended family. Learning how to grow and embrace my new meaning of family and how to communicate through conflict. Now, as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I have experience with a wide variety of clientele and the circumstances they face. I work with individuals, couples, and families. I take a collaborative approach with my clients to identify issues and then work towards their therapeutic goals. I take a nonjudgmental stance and strive to provide a safe space for clients to feel comfortable in sharing their experiences.
I have practiced in Community Counseling Centers, Trauma Centers, University Counseling Centers, and Behavioral Hospitals. This wide scope has provided me with extensive experience in treating those with family conflict and relationship issues. I believe that my clients are the experts in their lives and often implement a solutions based approach.
Whether it's anxiety, stress, marriage, or sexual identity, I believe that anyone with the courage to seek help can achieve a level of peace, and contentment in both their personal lives, and in their relationships.
