My primary therapeutic goal is to comprehensively assess an individual’s needs and their areas of concerns and to render compassionate care to alleviate emotional discomfort and distress. I have experience working with people with a broad range of presenting concerns including: anxiety, depression, chronic medical conditions, trauma, life transitions, grief, and persistent/severe mental health.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from the Columbia University School of Social Work and a Bachelor of Psychology degree from Sacred Heart University. For the past decade I have been working with individuals across the lifespan and families in a variety of psychiatric and medical settings.
I am passionate about supporting clients as they navigate through their unique life journeys. I provide empathetic therapeutic care by drawing upon skills from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
