Samantha Stein has been a practicing social worker (LMSW) since 2018. Samantha graduated from Adelphi University with a Bachelor's in Psychology, as well as a Master's in Social Work. Samantha works with individuals, couples, and families facing challenges related to mental health, relationship and communication skills, life transitions, trauma, grief and loss, and many other psychosocial issues.
A passion close to Samantha's heart is addressing sexual health and relationship issues in young adults and couples, and providing support for gender and sexual orientation diverse (LGBTQ+) individuals. With extensive experience in guiding clients through past or recent traumas, she adopts an eclectic therapy style that integrates elements of trauma focused.
Samantha is both a member of NASW and AASECT, and values creating an inviting, affirming, and safe space for patients to explore any and all issues. In her spare time, Samantha loves playing with her puppy Cholula, drinking pumpkin spice lattes and making a million different playlists on Spotify!

CoEd (20-30): This group is geared towards helping young adults navigate changes in their 20s, including identity shifts, gaining financial independence, family issues, friendships, and dating. Members will develop skills to better assert boundaries, as well as identify and communicate their needs. (Most insurance accepted) *Please note, clients are not required to be attending individual therapy at Nassau Psychology, PC in order to participate. A one time intake evaluation is required prior to being admitted into group therapy to ensure we are a good fit for the client's needs and to meet the group leader.

This group is geared toward supporting adults, aged 25-45, navigating the shift out of young adulthood to middle adulthood. Many folks experience significant changes during this life stage, including career shifts, marriage/divorce, new parenting, relocating, and building new support systems. Members will not only provide support to one another, but also learn skills to navigate difficult emotions. *Please note, clients are not required to be attending individual therapy at Nassau Psychology, PC. A one-time intake evaluation is required prior to being admitted into group therapy to ensure we are a good fit and to meet the group leader!
