My therapeutic approach infuses play therapy and expressive modalities to meet each unique client exactly where they are. I truly believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and believe that a major part of my role is to be a compassionate witness. Through the use of developmentally appropriate play therapy and expressive modalities, a child is able to explore and process internal thoughts and feelings and work towards healing.
Currently, I specialize working with children ages 4-12 years old who experience anxiety, adjustment difficulties, behavioral struggles, attachment-related struggles, and trauma. I see client's individually, however, also value taking a collaborative approach which includes parent sessions and additional collaborations as needed.
