You already know the areas of your life that are holding you back, but you don't know where to start - which has led you here. Maybe anxiety is causing you to avoid the people, places, and activities you used to enjoy. Maybe intrusive thoughts about causing harm, contamination, your identity, or about other scary topics take up your whole day. Maybe past life events are still causing you distress and you'd like to "turn down the volume" on your reactions. You worry that things will never feel "normal" again. You'd like to be able to work through the anxiety and frustration these things cause, and start living your life again.
Together, we will identify and transform the patterns, thoughts, and behaviors that are no longer working in your life. My specialties include OCD and anxiety, cancer, chronic illness, political anxiety, religious trauma, relationship concerns, and grief. I also enjoy working with LGBTQ+ individuals and those in helping professions.
I currently offer in-person sessions as well as telehealth sessions completed using HIPAA compliant and encrypted video calls. I offer late morning, afternoon, and early evening appointments to accommodate busy schedules. A 15-minute free phone consultation will allow us to decide if we'd be a good fit. Long COVID Support & Processing Group (online)
This group meets weekly (at either 2pm or 6pm) via GoogleMeet for those experiencing long term symptoms from COVID. This group is a mix of a support and processing group. This means that in addition to getting support from people in a similar situation as you medically, we will also be learning therapeutic strategies for processing the difficult emotions that come up during chronic illness as well as skills for advocating for yourself in the medical system. Tiered payment system according to economic need: $20-50 per session. Please email for more information and to get registered.
