Taking the first step to search for a therapist takes real courage, and I'm so glad you're here. I'm Samantha Gibb, LICSW. I specialize in complex trauma, PTSD, and dissociation, and I'm a generalist enough to support most mental health concerns. My ideal client is an adult, anywhere from early to middle or later adulthood, who is working through the lasting effects of complex trauma (C-PTSD) and ready to feel more grounded in their body and life. My approach is holistic and intuitive, blending evidence-based methods with attunement to what each person needs for those drawn to a less clinical, more felt-sense way of healing.
My care is grounded in an eclectic, intuitive approach, blending EMDR, Brainspotting, ACT, Ego State Therapy, and somatic interventions with holistic practices like Reiki when appropriate. I meet you where you are, move at your pace, and work collaboratively toward feeling safer in yourself and your life. I'm LGBTQIA+ affirming and trans-inclusive.

This supervision group is for associate and pre-licensed clinicians seeking relational, trauma-informed supervision in a supportive group setting. The focus will be on case consultation, clinical decision-making, ethics, and developing confidence in the therapist role. Supervision is integrative and emphasizes case conceptualization, use of self, and thoughtful engagement with complex trauma, attachment, dissociation, and work with marginalized identities. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative, with an emphasis on curiosity over perfection. The group will begin once an appropriate cohort is formed, with scheduling determined by participant availability. Please reach out to discuss fit and supervision requirements.
