I have experience working with clients who struggle with substance use, anxiety-related disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, adjustment disorders, and relational issues. I have experience with handling crises and developing safety plans. Your goals may be to improve your physical health, decrease anxiety symptoms, improve relationships with yourself and others, manage mood-related symptomology, change your perspective, accept, focus on psychosocial aspects of your life (i.e., Getting a new job), and abstinence. Ideally, we’d focus on your needs in the present moment to best work on your identified goals.
I enjoy utilizing Motivational Interviewing to identify issues, elicit change talk, & ultimately increase motivation to strive toward goals. I offer a person-centered approach, properly assessing the client to develop their treatment plan and goals, including what modalities and therapeutic approaches will best suit them.
