Thank you for your interest in my practice. I believe the strongest foundation for therapy resides in the relationship between the therapist and the client. It is essential in facilitating the therapeutic process. Throughout our work together, I strive for us to have a collaborative relationship. I have a genuine interest in your thoughts, feelings and experiences, as I am a firm believer that you are the expert of you. I have a great appreciation for every persons’ unique lives and I use an individualized approach to meet the specific goals and needs of each client.
In my practice, I utilize a non-judgmental stance to help create a safe and comfortable environment for clients to express their concerns and challenges as they relate to their past, present and future. I am a supportive listener, who actively engages with compassion and empathy, sincerity and honesty, understanding, theory, education and insight.
In addition to your goals, I hope to promote increased self awareness, flexibility of thinking and a desire to pursue continued personal growth. This often helps individuals reduce suffering, strengthen one's own sense of self, improve relationships and lead one forward on a path towards living their most fulfilled and authentic life.
