About
Sam's approach to therapy is down-to-earth, collaborative, and person-centered. You can expect a non-judgmental space that will help you to feel comfortable during all stages of the process. Together you will create a plan that promotes coping and growth, and incorporates evidence based therapy practices such as CBT, DBT, and a mix of trauma informed interventions. Sam works with adults and couples. She is LGBTQIA+ affirming, experienced in Veteran issues, and specializes in addressing stressful life transitions, anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship challenges, chronic pain and insomnia/nightmares.
Sam is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), in the state of North Dakota. She has a Master’s degree in social work from the University of North Dakota. Sam’s professional goal in therapy is to provide the safe and supportive place that every person deserves, in order to work through the things that they have been holding inside.
