I believe that my approach and personality create a safe environment for my clients to create lasting change. I have been practicing counseling since 2016 and have over 9 years of experience with clients of all ages. I also specialize in trauma, substance abuse, and working with teens. Other areas of experience include anxiety, self-esteem, and grief, to name a few. I am currently accepting new clients and providing in home therapy via video therapy, as well as in person sessions. My approach integrates CBT with Person-Centered therapy as well as other modalities based on your individual needs, such as EMDR, Positive Psychology, Solution-Focused tools, and Mindfulness. I think my judgment-free approach creates a safe environment, providing a trusting working relationship —the cornerstone of a successful therapy experience.
I am a recovering alcoholic who has been sober since 2011. I believe this gives me a unique perspective as a therapist. I have also worked with individuals from varying backgrounds and cultures. Additionally, I have training in the arts, which I incorporate, allowing others to express themselves in a variety of ways, promoting healing and success.
