I utilize a relational, person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach that caters to each client’s unique needs and perspectives. I believe that each individual is the expert in their own lives, therefore, I like to draw from multiple therapeutic modalities to create an eclectic approach that is tailored to individual client needs. I am especially passionate about providing a therapeutic environment that is sex-positive, gender- affirming, and neurodivergent- affirming. Some of my areas of interest include anxiety, OCD, gender and sexuality identity exploration, Autism, and ADHD.
The majority of my professional experience has been dedicated to providing support and advocating for LGBTQ+ youth and adults in individual counseling and community settings. As a queer and neurodivergent individual myself, I am passionate about providing care that is rooted in both education and lived experience.
I completely understand that reaching out to a new therapist can be overwhelming and stressful. I believe that the strongest factor in the success of therapy is the therapeutic relationship. It is important to me to take the time to truly get to know each client as a person, not as a list of symptoms or a diagnosis.
