I am a licensed professional counselor in DC and MD and a certified school counselor in Maryland. I provide a nonjudgmental, empathetic, and safe space for clients to address issues such as depression, chronic pain, addiction, grief, trauma and relationship issues through a focus on self-acceptance and communication skills. My specialties also include gender identity, non-traditional family structures, and neurodiversity. I often work with clients with autism or ADHD, and help them establish school or workplace accommodations, develop life skills, and address major transitions.
My training includes psychodynamic approaches, family systems therapy, psychodrama, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. As a trauma-informed clinician, I prioritize somatic techniques, multicultural awareness, and client-led collaborative planning.
