If you often catch yourself worrying about the future or dwelling on the past, I imagine you're feeling exhausted and overwhelmed, wanting to feel secure in the present moment. My goal is to meet you right where you are, equip you with the tools to navigate life's challenges, and encourage you to see things from different lenses in a safe environment where you can be yourself, as we journey back to the here and now. My approach is strengths-based, collaborative, and conversational in nature. I value curiosity, authenticity, integrity, and empowerment, both in and outside of the therapeutic setting.
I specialize in working with neurodivergent folks (ADHD, autism, etc.), the LGBTQIA+ community, and those healing from trauma. I believe in the power of knowledge and share the psychology behind the things we bring into session, like how society/culture impact us, how our past can stick with us, and what it means to be human.
Being a therapist is an interesting job, you get to meet so many different people and follow their stories, see them in some of their lowest points and through their triumphs. I understand the privilege that comes with being trusted with the most fragile parts of our lives. I'd be honored to help you on your journey, contact me if you're interested!
