My name means 'listener' and I believe I was aptly named. I have always had an uncanny ability to listen fully and empathize with anyone. I am a natural at seeing others' perspectives and asking questions that guide and deepen understanding, as well as seeing connections and patterns. I have always wanted to work in mental health, although I did take a side journey in college and beyond pursuing a career in the natural sciences. Even my time as an ecologist, however, has contributed to my work as a social worker and therapist.
As a trans and LGBTQ person myself, I am particularly passionate about working within the LGBTQIA+ community. I am especially comfortable working with people of any community experiencing anxiety, depression, and the effects of trauma, or anyone wanting support navigating life transitions or simply looking for support with living their best lives.
I create a warm, friendly environment, always meeting the clients where they are at. I strive to provide a safe container in which you will feel supported in expressing and processing any aspects of your reality. I attune strongly with people and have been told all my life that I have a calming influence.
