Sam B Leong
Psychologist, PhD
I look forward to meeting with individuals, couples, and families who are interested in personal growth and change. During the different stages of our life, our relationships, and the family life cycle, we can get stuck in certain places. This is often due to how we live out familiar patterns of thinking, feeling, behaving or relating with others. I find fulfillment in helping people move through these stuck points by bringing about clarity on core issues and exploring possible alternatives for change. I'm best suited to treat relationship problems, depression, father wounds, men with sexual addiction, and grief/loss issues.
Treating the whole person includes addressing cultural perspectives and the spiritual dimension. As an Asian-American, I appreciate the challenges that comes with the bi-cultural experience. I've had over 34 years of experience in treating people who come from a Christian background who also have psychological and relationship problems.
