Welcome! If you are here, I want you to know that you are doing a brave thing by looking for help with whatever challenges you are facing. I am Sally Warren, and it is my sincere privilege to walk alongside individuals and families as they do the beautiful and hard work of counseling. I want to tell you a little bit about myself and how I work as a counselor. In my approach to counseling, I am person-centered, which means I strive to meet client's needs individually and provide a safe, non-judgmental place for them. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory and other modalities when appropriate.
When working with children, I use Child-Centered Play Therapy based on my training as a Registered Play Therapist. (I am not currently taking clients under 13.) I am also trained in Child-Parent Relationship Therapy and greatly enjoy working with parents to build strong relationships with their children and conquer issues they are facing with their kids.
I received my Masters Degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and I am uniquely trained to help clients integrate their faith into counseling should they desire to do so.
