Life presents many complexities and unknowns, which can cause us to question ourselves and our decisions. We may feel a crisis of meaning, and irritable reaching for clarity and peace. My practice consists of adults who experience depression, anxiety, or relational problems that can result from these struggles with life meaning. I am accepting new patients for psychoanalysis. This approach honors the wisdom of the inner world to find a sense of peace and acceptance for the outer world. It requires a commitment to honesty, truth, and personal responsibility. I am also a Florida qualified supervisor for counselors and postdocs.
A psychoanalytic approach offers a deep look into the internal motivations and personal histories which have kept the person stuck in unproductive patterns or relationships. Sessions are frequent (3 to 5 per week). Those who commit time and energy to this work can find increased calm, clarity, stability, and acceptance of self, others, and the larger world.
I believe we each are at our best when we lead lives which honor our strengths and talents and minimize old, destructive patterns. This is not an easy journey, but it is vital, rewarding, and worthwhile. My mission is to empower individuals by listening deeply to their experiences so they can dream and create inspired, authentic, and meaningful lives.
