My name is Sally Patton, and I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC, since 2002), based in Oklahoma, working with clients statewide via teletherapy. I have over 20 years' experience working with children, adults, couples and families on a wide range of issues including, but not limited to, behavioral problems, anxiety, depression, stress and relationship conflicts. Clients have described my communication style as personable and engaged, putting them at ease to share their story without fear of judgement.
Becoming a therapist was my second career and came about after doing some volunteer work with young people. After seeing the extreme stressors children and families were dealing with, I had an overwhelming desire to better understand the changes in our society and to help people navigate them in order to have a fulfilling life.
I work with clients to define the steps and tools necessary for them to reach their goals. I have found that clients often have sound goals in mind but have fallen short of understanding what they need to do to get there.
