About
I provide Gottman Method Couples Counseling to couples needing premarital and/or marriage counseling. This begins with a thorough, research-based assessment which clarifies the particular strengths and needs of each couple. With this information, I collaborate with clients to develop clear treatment goals and a treatment plan. I have found this process most beneficial in helping couples work through their challenges and reach increased stability and overall satisfaction in their relationships. I also integrate Christian counseling for those interested in integrating their spiritual and emotional development in their therapy process.
In addition to couples work, I offer individual counseling for frustrating, and even debilitating depression and anxiety - those who feel chronically stressed out and overwhelmed & who want to find a sense of peace and balance, but are unsure how to. Together, we work toward lasting solutions that improve quality of life.
My style is warm and engaging but practical. I am creative and strive to find what works for each individual client. I like to give practical, hands-on assignments when appropriate. I want to help clients reach their goals and improve their quality of life.
