Do you need help with your child's behaviors or want to get in touch with your authentic self? I have over 20 years of experience helping children, teenagers, women and men who struggle with anxiety, depression, anger management, trauma, self-esteem and behavior management. Prior to therapy, I have worked as a House Parent in a group home for youth and as a residential rehabilitation specialist with adults struggling with mental health. I have taught classes for anger management and facilitated groups for children exposed to domestic violence. Whether you have a specific goal or want to feel emotionally healthy, therapy can help!
I believe in establishing positive and lasting changes. To build a therapeutic relationship with my clients, I utilize genuine acceptance and humor in a relaxed atmosphere. My hope is that all who seek counseling leave my office feeling strengthened and inspired. I believe that no problem is too difficult to overcome and there is always hope!
I have specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT.) I am certified in Parent-Child-Interaction-Therapy (PCIT). *I am currently unable to accept new clients at this time.
