I bring 30 years of multicultural experience to help you change your patterns of stress, fear, and trauma. I use collaborative, resilience, and strengths-based approaches, along with creative mind-body approaches which are especially effective for trauma-related issues. Tired of labels and pathologizing diagnostic frames? As responsive beings we adapt to our challenges and at times our adaptations need an update! Drawing on our holistic and creative selves we explore ways to embrace our humanness.

I work with couples and families on a wide range of life and relationship challenges, such as, communication, anger, loss, grief, identity, and life transitions. Drawing on my research, I also train, internationally, professionals in mental health fields and collaborative, somatic, relationally-oriented practices, and improvisation.

Therapy can be scary & exciting. Rest assured, we will build a safe space together. You are in the driver's seat. As a practitioner of improvisation I create a paced action-oriented context for change. Interrupting Man Box Culture in Couples Therapy

Adopting a systemic-relational focus, we will explore the embodied interplay of the social scripts and the self-of-the-therapist storylines in our clinical interactions. Join us for four sessions as we unpack patriarchal notions of power and masculinity in the lives of couples and the therapists who work with them.
