My clients are adults experiencing grief or trauma related to death, relationship loss, illness, pet loss, job change, divorce, life transitions, or identity disruption. They often feel angry, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of who they are now, and may not even realize that what they are experiencing is grief. The people who tend to benefit most from my practice are those who want more than just symptom management. They are looking for a therapist who can hold space for the complexity of grief, help them make sense of their experience, and guide them toward living a life that honors both their loss and their future.
As a grief specialist, researcher, educator, and someone who has personally walked through devastating trauma and loss, I believe grief is something no one should have to experience alone. Beyond my professional training, I offer something deeper and more personal as a griever for a griever, where your first session is always FREE.
If you are experiencing loss that feels overwhelming, heavy, confusing, or difficult to speak about, you do not have to carry it alone. Grief can surface in many ways, sometimes quietly, sometimes all at once, and it often leaves people feeling as though they are unable to move forward. If you feel ready, I welcome the opportunity to walk alongside you.

I work with clients experiencing grief, loss, or trauma. In the initial sessions, we focus on getting to know each other, identifying the support that feels most helpful, and creating a plan for moving forward. Many clients report feeling lighter even after the first visit and discovering something they may not have felt before—that they no longer have to grieve alone.

No two people grieve the same; so discovering what works best for you is a process of mutual exploration tailored to your unique experience. For example, if we find it helpful to explore how your emotions shape your experiences, we may integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and complement it with somatic practices that help you notice and regulate how emotions are felt in the body.
