I am a trauma specialist that utilizes a trauma informed approach in working with individuals 18 and up. Most of my clients identify as high-functioning/high-achieving individuals with histories of childhood trauma, lifelong people pleasing, church hurt, and/or impactful events (experiences that changed the way they saw themselves, people in their life, and the world around them). We focus on reframing core beliefs that have impacted client views of themselves and the world around them that impact emotions, mental health, and relationships.

I earned my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I also earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida. I am a certified EMDR therapist who focuses my CE's on trauma relevant course work. I am also an EMDR consultant in training available for EMDR therapists looking to become certified.

In therapy sessions, I integrate EMDR, CBT, and person centered practices. I believe that having a style that is always adapting and changing to the benefit of the individuality of each client is important. Mindfulness, EMDR, + compassion are cornerstones of my approach.
