He holds a Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Memphis and a M.S. in clinical psychology from Loyola University, Maryland.
With over 25 years of professional experience, Dr. English has provided a wide range of psychological and mental health services, including assessment, psychological testing, psychotherapy, counseling and crisis management in various settings such as universities, hospitals, communities, businesses, and private practices.
Dr. English believes in a collaborative therapeutic relationship, respecting that each person is the expert in their own life. He encourages clients to share their stories and strives to help them address problematic patterns of thinking, maladaptive behaviors, develop a greater sense of self, create meaning in their life, and improve their overall wellness.
