I work with people who are thoughtful, capable, and carrying a lot, often including anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, and a long habit of putting other people’s needs first. Many already understand where their patterns come from and have found that understanding alone doesn’t make them easier to change. These patterns often developed for good reasons, as ways of staying safe, connected, or valued. In therapy, I’m interested in getting to know the parts of a person that learned to work this way, understanding what they need, and finding ways of living that feel more like them.
I offer sessions in my office, virtually, and outdoors because I find that many of us can breathe a little better in nature. Our work together is about uncovering the person underneath all those layers of expectation so you can finally begin to lay down the heavy armor and reconnect with the life that is genuinely, unapologetically yours.
