About
Email Preferred! FulI but my supervisee open; see website. I specialize in working with college students and LGBTQIA+ people (16 - 30), including the transgender/gender diverse community. This includes a range of queer identities (non-binary, ace, demi, pan, intersex, etc.). I also welcome people from all walks of life, including those who do not identify as LGBTQ+ (heterosexual and cis people); again, the college student population in general is a focus of mine. I also love geeks and gamers. I work from Compassion Focused (CFT), Client-Centered approach, but I tailor my approach for each person. (Dropping Regence in Sept. 2023!)
I enjoy working with clients who may be exploring their identity and how to grow into their best self. I also work with a range of concerns such as depression, grief, bipolar disorder, anxiety, adjustment to changes, entering and succeeding in college, and spiritual/religious issues. Hence I have a passion for the teen and young adult years.
Previously, I worked in university counseling centers, which strongly emphasize diversity. I've worked with clients from a range of backgrounds, including people who are diverse in terms of race, ethnicity, nationality, age, faith/no-faith, ability, gender, and sexuality. Wherever you find yourself, I'd love to walk with you!
