Hi, hello! I'm Sadaaf (they/them), a queer, trans nonbinary South Asian clinician who works with fellow QTBIPoC individuals who are looking to explore their intersectionality, as well as any queer folks looking to gain insight into dominant group identities in service of stronger allyship. I also feel uniquely positioned to work with partners navigating mixed-identity and/or non-traditionally structured relationships, neurodivergent folks coping under capitalism and children of immigrants breaking generational curses. I specialize in complex developmental, racial and relational trauma and work through a predominantly somatic lens.
My philosophy for healing is that therapy is great, and Universal Basic Income would probably do more for our wellness. The highest care we can offer is sitting (and moving) in embodied solidarity with clients in the face of structural violence. I am committed to critical analysis of the forces that shape our realities as we usher in the revolutions to come.
If any of the above resonates with you and you share my belief in therapist as co-conspirator, please don't hesitate to reach out! I shall be honored to help you foster closer, kinder relationship with your own nervous system and the vast network of aliveness that surrounds us.
