My name is Sabrina Segelstrom. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) based out of the Twin Cities, MN working with clients statewide via Telehealth. My approach to therapy varies, I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused, and Solution-Focused Therapy, tailoring my methods to each client’s unique needs. I prioritize creating a collaborative and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to explore challenges, build resilience, and to heal.
I find my style and approach to best fit with adolescents and adults who are facing co-occurring mental health and addiction concerns. I work to help my clients navigate these transition periods and to build skills to allow them to feel better about themselves and develop a more positive outlook on life.
My approach to goal setting with clients is all about working together to define what you want to accomplish in our time together. I collaborate with clients to establish clear, achievable goals that align with their personal values and aspirations. We regularly revisit these goals to celebrate progress and adjust as needed.
