I have over 20 years of Clinical Psychology experience, and I am a licensed psychologist in Brazil. I completed the Master of Social Work program at the University of Iowa, emphasizing clinical therapy.
I have a holistic approach, integrating mind, body, spirit, and heart, attuning to culture, and relationships. I adapt different approaches to my client's needs, including EMDR, Mindfulness, Family Based Therapy, stress management techniques, and others. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and incorporate a Trauma-Sensitive approach in my work.
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults and have training and experience in treating clients with anxiety, attachment issues, depression, eating disorders, grief, acculturation, and cross-cultural transitions (culture shock).
