I welcome adult clients who are seeking support and encouragement as they face life's challenges. I am especially skilled and experienced at diagnostic assessment and supportive narrative therapy for adults with autism spectrum disorder. Many adults have wondered if they might be on the autism spectrum and seek a diagnosis later in life. I am passionate about my work. I am happy to welcome those clients who want to explore spirituality within our work together. I am experienced in counseling GLBTQ clients and clients who identify as poly or kink. I enjoy working with bereaved parents and artists, musicians, and writers.
I have developed a specialization in assessing, diagnosing, and supporting adults with autism spectrum disorder. I currently practice as a narrative therapist, unlicensed, with my doctorate (EdD) in counseling psychology. I was formerly licensed as an LMHCA from 2010-2017, and my psychologist licensure is pending with the state of WA Board of Psychology.
I practice narrative therapy, a positive, creative approach. While exploring the issues that brought you to therapy, we also look for the joys of your life, highlight your strengths and passions, and together create a healthier and more authentic life. I love to encourage clients to design healthier lives. I use expressive arts and humor in my work.
