Hello and thank you for taking the time to view my profile! The decision to enter into counseling is an important step on the road to wellness and self-discovery. As we move along our journey in life, we sometimes encounter bends in the road that impact us in difficult ways. At times it may be difficult to catch up with yourself, and when you finally do, it can seem overwhelming. Life can be full of concerns, struggles, and difficulties that cause anxiety, depression, peer and family/marital conflicts.
My goal is to assist and support you in gaining control of your life. Sometimes, this includes healing wounds of the past. I firmly believe in meeting the client where they are at, and working together, step-by-step, on moving forward. Sometimes, this includes healing wounds of the past
My clinical background includes working with adolescents/adults at a psychiatric hospital in the outpatient substance abuse clinic: working with clients who struggle with chemical dependency along with mental health disorders. I’ve also worked at a residential treatment facility that housed adolescent girls struggling with behavioral issues.
