Feeling a little off lately? Or overwhelmed? Are you struggling with indecision, depression, grief, anxiety in the face of changes, wanted and unwanted. Is trauma or shame influencing the way you handle these changes? My most successful clients have overcome the effects of trauma and shame on life transitions especially relationship issues, divorce, career changes/retirement, decision making, grief/loss, terminal diagnosis, spiritual exploration, parenting and parenting special needs kids, empty nesting. Don't minimize your feelings or feel embarrassed. Everyone needs a little help now and then.
I offer an authentic and meaningful connection with each client. In the space of that connection I use a variety of evidence based, trauma informed, and strength based therapeutic approaches to assist clients in overcoming trauma and shame in order to trust themselves and their own strengths as well as build and grow new tools and healthy coping skills.
My life experiences and my own healing process have afforded me a unique ability to relate to and understand my clients. I am not afraid to share parts of myself or to laugh and cry with you to create a space where you feel truly accepted, understood, and supported. I know reaching out can be scary.
