I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) as well as a Certified Dialectical Behavior therapist (C-DBT). My aim is to provide a friendly, respectful & non-judgmental environment in which clients can safely explore any issue(s) that might bring them to therapy/counseling. I've acquired practical experience throughout the Public, Private & Voluntary sectors of the Mental Health Service, working with people of all different ages, ethnic & cultural backgrounds; I have had many years of experience in helping clients, who feel that they are on the point of no return.
My expertise include working with adolescents and adults dealing with emotional & behavioral issues in life. Noted for my excellent interpersonal & communication skills, I foster a deeply empathetic understanding with my clients & have the flexibility in offering therapy in 4 languages -English, Urdu, Hindi & Punjabi.
I believe in an open, flexible therapeutic approach and can offer both short and longer term 'in-depth' contracts to suit your own specific needs. Primarily I use an Integrative therapy as 'no one type of therapy fits all' and this better values your individuality.
