Listening to my clients is my number one focus. My belief is two part. First, once an individual has reprocessed their traumatic experiences, the body can shift into a more regulated state to offer space to develop new skills needed to graduate from therapy. Second, therapy is goal directed. Thus, when you feel confident to effectively use your learned skills inside of therapy and apply them outside of the therapy office, graduation from therapy is achieved. My hope is that our work together will help you discover the path that leads to your best, most fulfilled, authentic self.
My therapeutic approach uses evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), and Child Center Play Therapy (CCPT). I also incorporate other evidence-based models into my care and cater to the unique needs of my clients.
Life is a journey. It can be joyful, sad, messy, and complicated (sometimes all at the same time). My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, supportive space for you to explore all of these aspects of your life.
