After 14 years of providing caring and professional counseling services to families, children, teens, and young adults from all walks of life in NWA, I have developed a reality based approach to counseling that emphasizes self care, non-blaming language, and creativity. My goal is to help individuals, couples, and families find greater satisfaction and fulfillment through richer relationships, enhanced self-confidence, and a well-balanced life. I strive to provide quality support in a non-judgmental setting by working with clients to create a treatment plan that is tailored to meet each person's unique and individualized needs.
Although I provide counseling for a wide variety of concerns, particular areas of focus include: women's issues (body image issues, postpartum transition/depression (PESI Trained in Perinatal Mood Disorders), empowerment/self-esteem; stress management; life transitions (retirement, job change, empty nest); medication adherence; grief and loss (death, relationship termination, miscarriage/infertility, job loss/change). Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
