I am licensed (LPC) to provide in-person/telehealth office visits in Arizona and licensed (LCPC) to offer telehealth sessions to clients located in Ilinois, and have done so for over 25 years. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families with varying diagnoses and issues (i.e. depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, self-harm, ADHD, trauma/PTSD, oppositional defiant disorder, personality disorders, marriage/divorce, and alcoholism/addiction).
I have been trained in treating PTSD / trauma using Trauma Focused CBT. My overall approach in therapy is to first establish a connection and trust with all my clients. I build therapeutic relationships through authenticity, using humor when appropriate, as well as personal experiences with marriage, parenting, divorce, and blended families.
My office is in Gilbert, the heart of the East Valley. I recognize the value of virtual therapy and offer telehealth services, but I personally believe in-person sessions can create a stronger therapeutic presence and space for healing for those capable. I used to live in Lake county IL and continue to be dedicated to provide telehealth to IL residents.
