While life is a beautiful journey of self-discovery, connection, and growth, there is no doubt that we all face struggles within ourselves and our relationships that can be painful, scary, and oftentimes overwhelming . In these instances, having a safe, nonjudgmental, and empathic space to process both the highs and lows of life can be the key to eventual healing. As a therapist, I strive to provide this safe space for exploration and work with you to define your present challenges, develop your future goals for an improved life, and help you implement a concrete plan for realizing these goals.
I approach counseling from an evidence-based, multi-theoretical perspective. I work with adolescents, adults, and couples facing a wide range of behavioral and clinical issues, and I employ techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Adlerian Theory in my practice.
While life is not always easy, it is through the struggle that we are able to grow. Luckily, you do not have to face the struggle alone. It would be an honor and a privilege to help you reach your therapeutic goals, and I look forward to beginning our work together.
