If you have experienced sexual violence in the state of PA, ask me about ways to help cover costs for counseling. I use a relational framework influenced by existential approaches that helps clients make meaning of their experiences as they navigate through life. My clinical experience includes sexual trauma, religious trauma, crisis management, community mental health, men's issues including the navigation of traditional masculinity and conflict resolution, substance abuse, and OCD.
I am a fully trained EMDR therapist with a focus on sexual trauma. I have worked in sexual violence prevention for 10 years through Pittsburgh Action Against Rape and Duquesne University's Title IX department and have extensive experience working with sexual abuse survivors of all ages and genders including the LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent community.
My style is collaborative and goal oriented. I believe that the counselor-client relationship thrives in understanding and trust, and it is my number one priority to provide a consistently safe environment to process the most difficult experiences that life throws at us.
