I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I provide virtual individual therapy sessions for adults who are primarily experiencing anxiety and depression struggles, and I strive to be supportive and nonjudgemental in working with people on the challenges they are facing in life. I typically work with people who are experiencing anxiety and depression symptoms. These areas of struggle could be due to a variety of factors, such as recent or ongoing stressors in their home, social, or work life.
My approach to therapy is to work collaboratively with people as they are on their mental health journey, and explore both insights into the topics they discuss, and coping skills that may be helpful for them. While I like to be eclectic in theoretical approaches, I tend to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy often.
I enjoy helping people find ways to increase awareness and mindfulness in their life, reframe unhelpful thought patterns, and take action steps based on their values. My goal is to have a communication style that is kind, comfortable, and personable.
